River dragons on the move
It happens when the water cools
and summer days have ended
There are colors in the leaves
River dragons on the move
They head out when the sky is bright
and gather in the dark of night
to circle in the breeze
They sing their river dragon songs
They chant and sing from dusk to dawn
And when the yellow sun appears
they open tiny dragon wings
and in a flash of purple
they are gone
